Yes, I'm kind of a fan of the pure numbering. Also, do you know about the Seattle Public Library, the new(ish) fancy one? The stacks are all in a giant spiral, and they go from 000 to 999 with the numbers on the floor to guide you along. So you can walk the whole system! It's pretty brilliant.
There's also the Library Hotel (http://www.libraryhotel.com/), of course... Though they're not quite as true to the system as one would hope.
