Today, at lunch, we discussed AJP Taylor.

Reena: Yep. First world war, second world war, anything else that had anything to do with war- train timetables. All happened because of train timetables.
Me: Well why isn't Australia in a state of civil war then, given the state of our train timetables?
Reena: It's not all of Australia...
Me: Well, just New South Wales then. I reckon we could get a nice insurrection together over the plan to close down the Newcastle rail corridor. Add some Sydneysiders to that...
Tess: We could have a great insurrection, but not a full on war. Everyone would be on our side- except possibly Morris Iemma.
Me: Ok then. Lets conduct a coup!
Tess: you could call yourselves the Coochee-Coochee army... and have the Coochee-Choochee Coup!

after i jumped up and down and yelled about the dreadfulness of the pun she decided to pass the buck on to some students her father once taught, who dressed in commando gear on muckup day and conducted a 'coup' in the school... under exactly that name.
