mum: are you getting into the whole world cup fever?
me: no.
*some discussion of japan and lichtenstein*
me: whitty's gone insane, thinks we're going to win the world cup
mum: weeell, anything can happen you know.
me: no. australian beating Brazil can NOT happen.
mum: no, anything can happen.
*joel walks into room and hears mum asserting that anything can happen- knows nothing of prior topic*
joel: no, Australia beating Brazil can't happen.

Ah, but Brazil don't seem to be up to their usual standard... I still think it's possible, even if not likely ;)

Brazil was lucky to get away with the points against Croatia. If Australia is switched on (not like the first 80 min vs Japan) and if Brazil puts in another under-13's performance, it will be interesting. Nothing is sure in soccer.
