i thinks gargoyle is french and was just adopted by all languages. like crepe and croissant.

i wonder who got the job of designing the gargoyles... that would be a fun job :)

a couple of places around the uni there are gargoyles in the shape of kangaroos or kookaburras and the like, sneakily tucked in with the traditional gargoyles. it's rather cute :)
