That this time, I did not throw the pie across the room.

K did sort of disassemble the pie dish mid-preparation, though, that was fun.

Also, it was delicious. Yesterday I made beef a la Monty in the slow cooker; today I scooped out all the remaining foodparts and hacked them up small; thickened the gravy; and added more mushrooms and frizzled bacon. And then we had steak, bacon, red wine, mushroom and onion pie.
