walking down to broadway this arvo: 'I think i need to escape from my government'.
who doesn't? (incidentally, should you get a job at maccas, as of this week, you no longer get weekend penalty pay. this country is pissing me off. think i'll move to Sweden.)
i gave kate a random history lesson tonight, much fun was had by all. we pondered the astoundiong tenacity of the Romans in attempting to take what's now Scotland- given that they didn't bother much with Wales and left ireland totally to itself.
kate: well, maybe they liked shortbread... and porridge...
i have Speculaas and i'm dipping them in tea. and i've managed to conjugate verbs i didn't know i knew. yay go me.
AND i have new gel pens. and new earrings. no income, but i keep buying stuff anyway...
