That was not Acceptable Food!

... K is making us something acceptable. I, meanwhile, bagged up my attempt at potato-leek-spinnach soup and went to throw it out. This looked remarkably like I was carrying a bag of green vomit. (Which, FYI, is roughly what it tasted like. Only more bland.)

I have defaced my recipe book with the inscription "this is NOT Acceptable Food" on the relevant page.

Any thing potato-leek unless it's got a strong flavor is going to be bland. That is one of my family's favorite soups and I can't stand the blandness.

I have no clue why my parents like it, but my sister is the bland food queen, so that's what I would expect from her.
