highlyeccentricLucy monster is a *terrifying* individual.
She just convinced me to apply for a full-time Masters by research at Sydney, in Medieval Studies, studying Old French.
Because I am mad, I am considering attempting to put in the application, due on the 30th of October. Beause I'm a recent Sydney grad, I need ne referrees. My scholarship chances are shaky, because of not having published anything (god DAMN the Society For Medieval Feminist Studies for not publishing my prize-winning essay). BUT I CAN TRY. And if it falls through, I can attempt to get something from my hons thesis published.
I will need to do an *incredibly* speedy read of Erec et Enide and the Chevalier a la charette. In English, for now. Oh, and tell Andrea my intentions.
NO NO NO NO. Can't do that. Can't do that to potential supervisors. Especially not Andrea.
