Jan. 29th, 2006 10:44 pmthis evening, we buried a cat. yes, it was dead. only lucky we ate on the verandah, since he climbed up there and if joel hadn't noticed he wasn't well he would've died then, and how guilty we would've felt!
otherwise, i had a perfectly nice day. well, except for doug ross and his wife ringing at eight am (!) to talk to mum, who wasn't here, and besides, what they had to say didn't need to be telephoned.
thus rudely awakened, up i got. no idea what i did in the morning, chris came around at lunch time. we had a huge long talk of unusual depth... which was nice. We had great fun cooking rissoles and salad for dinner... we were doing great until i tried to grill the rissoles! fortunately mum came home and set things right, and dinner turned out ok in the end. I do like chris. probably should tell him that more frequently.
