ulfruna,
torificus, you guys high and dry? Ulfruna, hope the zoo's ok :) (it's set well up in the mountains, right?)
shenniefish, did you get home from school ok? I seem to remember hearing stories of Buses That Barely Made It Through, and so on.
Anyone else I've forgotten?
Depressing fact: the rainy edge of the storm is predicted to get as far as Goulbourn, but we've got a 25% chance of rain today and predicted fine all weekend. NO FAIR, Mr Weather.

Date: 2009-05-25 01:58 am (UTC)Some lucky animals got to sleep in and stay in their dry, heated shelters and not have to come out in the morning. ;) Unfortunately, the lack of paddocks to clean was canceled out by the relocation of sand washed out of a camel yard. >D
There were some pretty spectacular photos in the Sunshine Coast papers though (some scary, some amusing, ie the guy having his kayak pulled down the street by a 4WD), and two of the three carparks at my husband's work went under. Heh. Water, hey?
