highlyeccentricI was just revising Revelations for sunday... and hit hit me: Computers are the Beast. They EEEEEVIL, i tell you. I hates them. And they hate me back. The main compy has serious issues... i cleaned it up and defragged it and everything yesterday, took all day. And if anything I think it's worse. Bastardage.
Sauron here has been very well behaved since he's been disconnected from the net, I note.
this morning when i woke up, the radio station were engaged in an act of goodwill. Someone had rung in saying a friend of theirs had been killed in a car crash on the weekend, and she was worried about the two daughters and what they'd do at christmas. So the station ran an appeal. These girls, whose mother had just died, got hundreds of dollars worth of electrical goods- CD players, hair straighteners, ect from Domayne; two hundred and fifty dollars worth of toys from Toys R Us, and heaven only knows what else. Just what you need when your mum dies. More stuff.
the job i was hoping to get fell through. dunno what i'm gonna do now.
chris was meant to come out today... i thought he said next week, and we went out to the bay. joel and marlin went to the beach, mum and I went shopping. Had a huge fight about my driving skills and her paranoia about me running into things. Chris rang and he was about to come out to visit... i told him we weren't there, i'd message him when we were on our way home and he could come over in the afternoon. I think he was really hurt though, 'cos he never answered my message.
will says he's coming out tomorrow. hope he turns up more than an hour before he has to leave. I'd like to find out what he's been up to, and plus i think I need a good long talk to him, get my thoughts in order.
I got my card from Tockie today. She says she's extremely glad i didn't come home from camp with a man, but finds it very rude that emma dares lay claim to me.
Heard from Stewart about NCYC... prices for the actual convention are 4 or five hundred, and he reckons tickets are five fify return. I could do that, 'speshly if i don't go on the bus tour or anything. Which means I could arrive a few days early and have a look around Perth. How you feel about a Moot very very early in Jan. 07, Jenna me dear?

bought a frame for mum's photos today. Now i just need to finish taking them ;)
hoy Dave, did you say you were coming over to the Dark Side next year? Out of curiosity, you gonna stay on as mission worker at UNSW at the same time? (I was reading the Youth Unit's guide to uni chaplaincy for school leavers, and only Chris was listed as UNSW mission worker, so my eternal curiosity is awakened)
mkay. I better go and do some ironing so i have clothes to wear tomorrow. 'Cos clothes to wear is always good.
