Yes, there is ample evidence that Australians have become uneasy about Muslims in general and hostile in specific cases, but this is about cause and effect.

What the fuck do you call that if it's not racism, and, specifically, Islamophobia? He says it exists! And then just spends the rest of the article, as you say, building ridiculous strawmen. Normal white people never commit horrible crimes, dontcha know.
