ow. nasty orthodontist. I was expecting him to put rubber bands on me today, which i would then have left off until after my exam tomorrow. But no, I was wrong. He decided to tie the upper teeth together with some kind of super elastic string... And put wire in figure eights back and forth across the front ones.
Good thing: chemist said i could use period pain tablets for teeth
bad thing: it still hurts.
upshot is i have a headache, feel sick in the stomach, fell into a gutter on the way home, and have a three hour exam in the morning. OH YAY!
oh, and i have to be packed and outta here in less than forty eight hours.

Saw a guy the other day with a Torch the Moon T-Shirt, it had 'I WILL NOT GO QUIETLY' in big red letters across the front. I want.

Whitlams are doing one of those 'undercover' gigs... billed as 'The Moody Jews' for a free performance in some pub somewhere. Not so undercover any more, since their fan site got wind of it :P

Orthodontists SUCK. I had those super elastic string things for a while on my top teeth, on both sides, from front to back, which ended up giving me a gap between my front teeth XD Which was then corrected by the figure eight thing.

I want that shirt too =D

Bah, I know. It's great once they're off though, even though you still have the retainer and whatnot (I still have a wire around the back of my bottom teeth, despite having had my braces off for quite some time now...).

see, there was nothing terribly wrong with my teeth to begin with... I had one crooked, that was it. I went to a new dentist to complain about it, and he goes 'eek! you still have baby teeth!', pulls 'em out, and sends me to an orthodontist. The adult teeth that grew down eventually are deformed and weird, plus they pushed the other teeth out of shape. Shoulda just kept my mouth shut- literally!
