I'm going to have to vote *against* slashing OE historical figures--and that means *any* of them. That's just wrong... gives me the jibbly-jibblies....
Let's analyze this. Any man who takes his name from his hirsuteness is obviously a bear, and therefore already slashable. So Swein is in. AEthelred Unrede obviously doesn't have it in him to be a romantic hero in any sort of shipping, much less slash. Unless maybe Swein seduces him. That leaves Thorkell, who obviously impressed people because of his size, so he obviously has to be included in any slash.
(Yeah, I know that's not the kind of help you wanted, but this way is much more fun.)
yeah, I've already kinda given up on AEthelred... thinking perhaps I'll slash big ole Thorkell with Eadric Streona (the one who kept ill-advising AEthelred) instead...
