now, if only I could work when she was asleep, instead of cooing at her, I could then either pay her attention or go and hide when she gets the midnight crazies/sulkies later on... but nooo...

perhaps when we have no couches left we will be forced to sit on hard chairs and thesify seriously.

right now, kitty is walking all over the desk and all over my books, with an expression on her face that says 'MELANIE never leaves used mugs lying around. hmph!'
