highlyeccentricI'm going to a Viking Symposium! The Goblin's Magnificent Teacher-Lady informs me that the ordinarily arduous initiation rites have been relaxed in favour of a simple registration form, making the process of infiltrating their councils quite simple.
The main point of this, for me, is a paper on 'The Viking Experience in 9th Century England'. Top-secret information on the the activities of these pagans on holy English soil will be forthcoming.

In other news, we had Adventures In Practical Codicology today, which I was going to put on The Naked Philologist, but google still has it locked down tight. Sigh.
