what a waste of a day

highlyeccentricwasted the last three and a half hours in casualty at RPA...
why? Special Amy Moment 5.7.
I fell out of bed. Or rather, threw myself head-first into the corner of my bedside table, nearly poking my eye out and putting a nice gash in my eyebrow. Had meant to go to a GP, but no-one could be found to drive me to a doctor, so we ended up walking to RPA because that's closest.
so, end result is, i have some steristrips on my eyebrow, i look like some horrible husband/father has been beating me up (and 'i fell out of bed' is a particularly inventive version of the intimidated-woman story, isn't it just?), and i've wasted a whole day on this. However, i've had my first non-visitor hospital experience. Whahoo.
lesson: only buy ROUND bedroom furniture.
