Class cancelled.
Which is nice, since i hadn't done all the reading anyway.
Also, Lecturer Lolo has a very adorable son. Said son was ill today, thus the cancelled class. Someone I didn't recognise turned up and took our contact details, then just as we were exchanging notes for the class in came Lecturer Lolo and Little Lolo, Lecturer Lolo all apologetic and Little Lolo big-eyed and patient, in the way that sick kids are. He didn't say much- refused to even tell us what his temporary tatoo was (a butterfly), because it was a secret.
So there you go,
ajodasso, more inside information on mad Australian medievalists. Mad, but with adorable children.
Once Lolo and Little L. had gone, we were all coo-ing over Little L's adorableness, at Classmate #2, who has a two-month-old at home, announced that 'I used to be afraid of children... then I became a mother, and now I'm only afraid of my own!'
To make up for the missing class, though, we have class during the easter break. Which will go some way toward covering up the great gaping gap in my life which is looming ahead this weekend: Amy, you're not going to Easter Camp... The fulcrum on which my identity has turned for nine years, and i'm not going. Will she survive? Stay tuned!
