The boys, most of whom said they were heterosexual, were given surveys asking them to select various reasons why they asked girls out, dated and pursued physical relationships.

I notice this kind of thing a fair bit, the glossing over the fact that some of them presumably asked boys out. They admit up front here that not all of them were hetero - and then all of those boys are magically whisked away so we only talk about the straight ones again.

Apparently, 95 [boys surveyed] indicated they were heterosexual, while 10 boys didn’t answer the question. (I wonder what the question was, exactly?)

oh - and someone should tell clive robertson (http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/transcripts/s2166032.htm) about this. he's one of those charmers who thinks all men are simply too stupid to think about anything other than sex, and too stupid to understand difficult concepts like 'consent'.
