highlyeccentricwalked through pitt street mall today (always a bad idea). sensibly avoided even LOOKING at the giant angus and robertson, but unfortunately there was some place called borders that i didn't anticipate.
telephone conversation:
mum: hello?
me: heya mum... can i speak to dad?
mum: um, yeah sure.
me: exellent. he's easier to con than you.
(muffed) mum: she wants to con you into something, watch out.
dad: what do you want? i'm tough
me: if i said that i'd seen Thud! for twenty-five, can we have it for my birthday?
dad: yes.
