things happening around the world at the moment:
'A Danish Father Christmas, otherwise known as Olavi Niikanoff, complained to the Danish Air Force when his reindeer, named as Rudolf in some accounts, died of fright after being buzzed by a military plane. Sensing a public relations disaster, the military was quick to offer compensation. "We got a letter from Santa complaining about his reindeer's death and looked into it seriously," a defence spokesman, Captain Morten Jensen, told Associated Press. "We're more than happy to pay if it means children around the world will get their presents."'

also on the 'HUH?' front... work on friday had a prime viewing position for the Swans parade. We're down the Quay end of George street, so not much of a crowd. Most people, predictably, were out in their Swans gear. There were a significant minority in Wests Tigers jerseys. WTF? fine, if you follow two codes, great way to waste your time... but why wear and NRL jersey to an AFL parade?
i wanna go to the beach, but my swimmers are in the wrong town, and there's no one to go with me anyway...
have french exam tomorrow. am not ready. am not allowed dictionary. think this is a bit unfair, for the first written expression exam.
have new lip balm. now taste like white jelly beans.
and that's about it, really :D
Tock doesn't want me going to EC, lest i come home with a husband. HUH??? how does that logic work?

I was actually quite relieved - the only reason I'd put it down as a year 12 subject was because my mum forced me to... I mean, I enjoyed it, but not that much =P
