As gryphonvere, my Canadian alter ego, can easily tell you, I traditionally have no tolerance for soppiness. Very matter-of-fact person, I am. With high standards regarding praise literature.
However, my brain has been eaten by PinkNFluffies. I am right ashamed of myself. Ic, dysig ond unsnottor, am gleeing over this, despite the fact that it is incomprehensible to me, and probably terribly written as well.

goblinpaladin , meanwhile, should be commended for this novel way of memorising gramatical structures. I, when preparing my french exam, wrote a series of short exercises about students failing exams. He writes me letters in Latin! *glees*

ego amo te. novisti me amam te. hoc per gestum et tactum et aspectum
factum erat. dicimus. dicimus nimis, si quid. et nunc amor est.

1: i am instructed to correct that sentence with: barbari mei mali imperium
nostri amoris non vincient. But i like his grammar faulty.

 No one who actually reads Latin is allowed to give me a translation before B does. Bablefish offerings and general mockery are both welcome.

oops, spoke to soon! I think phrasemuffin has just defeated you. Although he is cheating by means of Years Of Catholicism.

it's not the nuns... it's the years of exposure to a latin-soaked liturgy and hymns and stuff :)

I have only ever attended one mass in Latin, I will have you know. And while, yes, there is latin on certain feast days, it is not a regular thing... as far as I remember. I, personally, would have loved to have more Gregorian Chant and been to a greater number of Latin High Masses.

So there. :P No cheating on my part. I even tucked away my Latin dictionary just to be safe.

Not that real Latin has anything to do with this, I might add, and that no cheating was really possible...

no, my heart is a stonewall :P And I would like to contest such accusations of my Catholic-cheatingness further.

I would, however, make no claim on your remaining Victory Points; you have won them fair and square. Feel free to share the spotlight with me; there is plenty of room on the stage for two :)
