It's heaps serious, Kevin went mental.

PARENTS, teachers, academics and social theorists are scratching their heads. What are we going to do about our little darlings? I mean, you still love them and everything. But the secret drinking, the headstrong stubbornness, the self-centredness, the affected moral outrage, the prolonged fits of sulking - well, sometimes you just want to clonk their heads together.

I speak, of course, of this nation's federal parliamentarians. The House of Representatives and the Senate this week have resounded with dire analyses of teen behaviour, but at no point has any of the protagonists noticed something quite obvious about their own conduct.
