Madrid Fasion Show Bans Skinny Models

what makes me confuzzed is the photo of the New York model. How does anyone think that the clothes look good on her? I can understand selling your clothes on thin women, if it looks good. But the girl looks repulsive, and what's more the bikini or whatever it is looks more like bandages.

More oddball washing instructions (Column 8, since last week), this time from Susan Lewis, of Randwick: "My daughter has a top which has extensive washing instructions, in several languages, including: 'If printed on, do not iron', 'If decorated, do not iron', followed, inexplicably, by 'If captured, say nothing'."

who else but Column 8?

An Englishman, an American, a Frenchman, a Mexican and an Australian are on a plane that is crashing on account of being too heavy. They all throw their baggage from the plane, but it's still too heavy. Realising this calls for extreme heroism, the Englishman shouts "God save the Queen!", and jumps out. The Frenchman shouts: "Viva la France!", and jumps out, too. Then the American shouts: "Remember the Alamo!", and chucks out the Mexican. "I don't think that was very fair on his family," the Australian cries. "How would you like it if someone threw one of your family members out of a plane? Show some respect!"

Jack Marks' jokes for the new moral and politically correct Australians.
