From today's Sun Herald, in regards to this (http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/alarm-at-hidden-increase-in-homophobic-attacks/2007/08/11/1186530675389.html) from last week (which has been followed up this week but is not online) and the first apparently as a reply to a letter about abortion from Nigel Freitas, whose letter on the Meney piece ended thus:
Biological truth and sociological reality should always trump emotionally based claims of "discrimination"
Looks like he's an agitator of the letters page.
You can't get these letters online, so I'm typing them up:

It was interesting to read the article on gay-bashing, particularly in light of Nigel Freitas's letter in defence of Life Decisions International (http://www.fightpp.org/). While many religious organisations are permitted to further their agenda, they fail to take responsibility for their actions. When they spend more time on homophobic teachings at the expense of far more important lessons - such as forgiveness - others suffer the consequences. This is not limited to gay-bashings on Oxford Street. Homophobic bullying occurs daily in our high schools and every attempt to address this has been frustrated by various religious groups. Which is nowhere near as good as the following gem:

What they are doing is unscriptural (against God's word and his commandments) and by adopting the homosexual lifestyle, authority is given over to the evil spirit realm for Satan to kill, steal and destroy those he chooses to do so in that lifestyle (John 10:10). The solution is simple: dump the lifestyle and Satan loses his authority. Likewise if the young children are taught to dump the Harry Potter witchcraft practices, Satan also loses access to the young children. It is all to do with legal authority. This just in: rape is always the woman's fault. Actually, can you explain this one to me? I'm not quite sure I get it. Spirit realm? Direct intervention of Satan? Is Gibson suggesting that children who read Harry Potter should be beaten into submission?
