Q: you find yourself in a situation that reminds you of your childhood, your home town, etc.

Does that make you feel good?

And, regardless of whether it feels GOOD, does that make you more able/productive/stable/etc (things that feel good may be stultifying; some things that don't feel good exactly are energising).

It depends on which part of my childhood? There's a set of childhood things that make me feel trapped (if they recall middle school, or people talking down to me). Remembering any of my home towns (there are multiple options) generally feels good.
