ok, somone smart: i i can't get the tag on my ljcut to include more than one word. if i put a space between quiz and result, 'result' vanishes. pourquoi?

Should work, replacing the [] with the pointy things. Which is what I think Jenna was trying to point out, except the pointy things generally tend to disappear =P I used to have the same problem, though I can't remember what I was leaving out in the code.

< > don't usually show up in my entries or comments, it's weird. But that's one of the only ways to get a code to show up when you're trying to explain it to someone; either that or enter something like <**lj-cut text="..."**><**/lj-cut**> and I'm not even sure if THAT works...

[] is BBC code: standard on RB. which is why your html wasn't working the other day. and why i couldn't get italics on here for months, because no one had introduced me to <>!

BB code sucks. I hate it. It makes no sense to me because I learnt html first. As for RB, they always said html works there. Little did I know, only 2 html codes work there. Pathetic. They should have just taken html out of RB altogether.

You can learn html anywhere on the net. Its easy. And you can learn to do more things once you know it.
