going to a 'honours in languages' info session tomorrow... maybe i can do combined french/medieval studies? which means dropping english altogether (no tolkein course!).

the thing about honours in language is... you HAVE to do an exchange... which would stop me using the $$ excuse. (it IS a good excuse, though. and i'll only do honours if i'm sure that i'll get enough covered by the uni). Just rang mum to warn her.
problem with honours in language: i have to keep learning the bloody language! and then write a thesis on it. thankfully not write a thesis IN it, there's exceptions for beginners, thanks to Alice :D

i really don't know about this... :S but its just info, info never hurt anyone.

and does french combine with medieval studies anyway? maybe i'd need to do straight history?
hmmm... i think i have to learn a medieval language, too. medieval french? Latin, probably.
