Following on from our tale of the six tailors and their signs (Column 8, Monday), Gary Humble, of Leura, writes: "The late lamented Katoomba cafe The Flapping Curtain was noted for its witty pavement blackboard, which often bore the message 'third best coffee in Katoomba'. Bemused tourists asking where to find the better cafes were told that two other establishments claimed to have the best coffee, and that The Flapping Curtain was simply the third cafe to make the claim."
