highlyeccentricNetbook is suffering from a very peculiar curse. Dad and I have been trying to create a boot disk, using Recovery Media (windows 7 starter) - this should transfer the data from the boot partition onto a USB stick or SD card.
Instead, it completely borks every drive we try. Borks! Format fails, and one can't re-format them for use as portable storage.
MYSTERIOUS.
I've decided this shall not stop me from ripping Windows out and putting Linux on. Take that, Windows 7 starter, take that.
