not only is the concept poorly thought through on the equality front... where do they think they're going to get the ministers from, with mainline churches all very worried about declining minister numbers. doubt we're going to put any into schools...

Date: 2006-06-28 12:18 pm (UTC)i think part of the problem is that the government would like to think that relgious organisations can do things twice as well as everyone else... because they do it out of dedication, rather than for the pay. so one chaplain is supposed to fix problems that fifty teachers and a school counsellor can't.
