yeah well. NOW i get a phone call from the SMH saying they've shortlisted it. and NOW they can't because Honi ran it.

And read http://misssnark.blogspot.com/ - she can be very helpful (if snarky) about what to do with submissions (she's a book agent, but I think a lot of what she says applies to other writing media too).

not at all! William and I developed it some time ago to deal with the fact that he had a best mate Kris and i had one called Chris- and to make things more confusing i'm really good friends with said Kris. So there was 'Will's Kris' and 'My Chris'.
Over the summer it became necessary to expand the system, so you are now 'David's Chris', and we are still looking for someone to own Chris Laughton.

anyway... mostly unrelated, but i was reminded by your uncertainty over which possessive to apply to david.
