hahah! John Cage wrote a piece called 'Four Minutes Thirty Three', being four min 33 of silence. Mike Baht was later sued for including one minute of silence on one of his albumns- plagiarism. His comment: 'Mine was a much better silence. I was able to say in one minute what took cage four and a half minutes!'

in other news- miraculously, i did NOT fail my driving test. WTF? However, rejoice, for this means i need not drive anymore. Well, not without a good reason anyway. No more horrid practice sessions.

that's right. not having driving practice every day is GOOD. being able to drive somewhere with mum and have HER drive is GOOD.

best incentive i can think of for getting a licence- only having to drive when you want to go somewhere.

I'm the other side of the coin I think - I *love* being able to drive, and take every opportunity to do so. I really miss it at the moment (I can't drive here - got to get a Dutch licence first). I can understand not enjoying it though - my sis doesn't really enjoy driving I think.

i dislike it because it's the first thing i've really had to work at since i learnt to ride a bike... Other things that don't come easy i either don't do, or if i do them i don't really HAVE to so it doesn't matter.

*sigh* i'm spoiled.
