I had an 'allergy' to Japan when I first went over there, only it didn't really manifest in rashes ... more just "everything that can go wrong, will". Like I ALWAYS get blisters on my feet - always. But then in Japan, rather than just blistering nastily, the blisters I had all got infected and my right foot swelled up like a balloon. Then I caught tinea off one of my housemates. Then I got an ingrown toenail (never had that happen before). Then I had an INGROWN EYELASH. And just to top it all off (this all happened within my first two months there), I got hay fever. Which, again, I've never had in my life.

Happily none of this happened when I moved to Melbourne!
