The actual temperature did not get above 16 today and the apparent temperature lurked around 10, 11 degrees. NONE OF YOU WARNED ME THAT I WAS MOVING TO BLOODY ANTARCTICA. My ears froze off this morning. Not happy. Plus all my winter clothes are in the missing suitcase. Did I mention that my suitcase is missing?

It was 20 here most of the day, and when my sister came home from school she was absolutely SOAKED to the skin, because in the two-second bus change she does up the hill, it was pouring like bejesus. Twenty! I should have baked today, not yesterday.

*passes you a cup of tea*

I am forced to take a moment to go ! like a big meanie because ... you Aussies do the Celsius thing, right? When it got to 60 F (approx. 16 C), here, I had a "hooray it is finally spring!" mini-celebration. XD

(It balances out. We complain about heat that pales miserably beside Aussie summers...)

Whoever you are, come and talk to me when you have 16 degree days MERELY FOUR DAYS AFTER your entire country was baking in a heatwave and setting itself on fire. ;)

Ah, then I shall say again:

come talk to me when you have your sixteen degree days MERELY FOUR DAYS AFTER YOUR ENTIRE COUNTRY WAS BAKING IN 40+ DEGREE HEAT AND SETTING ITSELF ON FIRE. Then we can complain about weather. ;)

That is a significant jump in temperature, I will give you that.

And my whole heart has gone out of it now that I remember the fire again, anyway. :( Augh.

Um.

Honestly, I forgot. I mean, I know it happens, but it's actually normal enough that it wouldn't occur to mention.

Man, I was clicking through here and scrolled past your header and thought it read "Dying and snotter, ice cream".

You need to knit a magical headscarf for your ears. These things are amazing, they're like a scarf, only they cover your ears and hold your hair in, and they're cute.

It went from "freezing and snow" to "50 degrees" in 2 days, here.
