Someone else is disturbed by all the overt patriotism around. Also, apparently there were incidences of violence again this Australia day, namely smashing of car windows in Manly in the name of Aussie Pride. :s

Recent years in Australia and America have developed within me an aversion to flags. It's unfortunate, I suppose, but urgh.
