Advice, internets?

My current Evil Overlord, the dishonourable Sauron who has ruled my life for the past four years, is getting decrepit.

I have asked my father and brother, in their capacity as my closest male relatives, to set me up with a new master. They have found me a nice machine which will have 4 GIGABYTES (I'm currently running on 512) of Ram, plus other shiny things. They're doing so well, maybe they should find me a husband into the bargain?

Now, the final question: do I get blue, black, or flamingo pink?

What about the size of the hard drive? And the screen? Also, I'm sure the boys already thought of this, but just in case, make sure that connecting to the internet from the new computer won't be an issue - in moving to my desktop from my laptop, I've lost so much from the quality of my connection; wheras I used to have 54.0 Mbps all the time, I'm now fluctuating between that and 5.5 Mbps. I've been at 24.0 for two days now. Sometimes I can't even see the internet even though I know it's right there. I guess that's somehow my fault, though, for not having a built-in wireless connecty thing.

It has a... bigger hard drive that I have already. Can't remember how big, but bigger.
And a 13 inch screen.
And a wireless card.

And black is boring. Midnight blue goes with most things too...

Something I just thought of: how good is the wireless card? Because the one I've got is SHIT - I can barely get wireless in Fisher and lecture theatres that I know have wireless, because I've seen people online in them. You might want to find out about that sort of thing.

anyway, it was ordered today, for to take advantage of long weekend special. So i gets what I gets. If it's crap, I will remember not to ask Dad and Joel to marry me off ;)
