Oct. 11th, 2005 09:37 amhave a few minutes before class, i figure i might as well update this in some way shape or form.
went out Saturday night for a UCATSA ladies gathering at Amy's... not the wild night I'd been lead to expect, ended up coming home by eleven thiry. Amy is single-handedly trying to expand my pallette... at church she feeds me curry and chilli and peas, all in soup, none of which i eat... Saturday she takes us to a vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant. I can now say not only have i eaten Vietnamese, I've also eaten Tofu.
Went home on sunday to pick up LOTR DVDs from Dad, that i might attempt to learn to analyse film technique by watching the commentaries. Dad all happy to see me, Mum's got it into her head that I'm losing weight, and is fussing about me eating properly.
Seem to have lost/had stolen mobile phone, as i said yesterday... will try to ring the rail Lost Property again this afternoon.
Tomorrow is Spring Cocktail, which means No Sleep Whatsoever In Langley. whoo...
Thinking I'll go to Advent Retreat this year, if I can get subsidy for the cost. Only problem is I have a feeling Andrew from NCYC goes to those... *shudders*
If all else fails I guess I'll ask Emma or someone to protect me.
huh. Lost Property just rang me, it's not there, they said ring back next week and see what happens.
Posting Will his birthday card today. Probably a pointless excercise as mail NEVER EVER gets to him... I'd take it myself, but it seems I'm not invited to his birthday party. hmph. oh well, saves me seventeen dollars train fare.
My ears are all blocked again and snapping whenever I move my jaw... Think I'll have to go to the doctor about this one.
Speaking of doctors, we found out that Joel's had Glandular Fever for the last six months or so... Doctors all kept brushing him off, they only found out by accident because he had blood tests for Rheumatoid Arthritis, which it seems he doesn't have. What he had that was giving him joint trouble, we don't know, and it seems he might have mild epilepsy now. Apparently he's taken to passing out in showers, which is a really safe passtime.
