Weekend Listening

My habit chart reward purchase this weekend was King Princess' album 'Cheap Queen', which is good pop, yes good. Very very odd music video, though:
I've been listening to Murder Ballads' 2014 album 'Pretty In Scarlet' a lot, this time fixating on the track Girl that's never been.

I've started The Spouter-Inn, a 'Conversation with great books'. Only got through their Iliad episode so far, but definitely loved it.
I don't think I've made much headway with Paradise Lost since last listening post, actually.
Other:
Still enjoying 'You Kant Say That'; surprised to really enjoy the Freud episode. Remain a bit... sigh... about the unquestioned use of 'western philosophical and intellectual tradition' as synonymous with 'we' and 'always'.
Completed second listen-through of the Carbonne 14 Lascaux episode, picked up a lot more second time around.
Fiction:
Not much, but I'm now four episodes into the Magnus Archives. Found episode 3 quite meh, loved episode 4 with the spooky Latin book and the spooky bookshop. Yes good.
