The Good Thing About Country Towns (or so it is often said) is that the locals are cheery, and they feel free to smile and say hi to anyone. This may or may not be true, depending on the local in question

The Bad Thing About Country Towns (as discovered by Highlyeccentric) is that these selfsame cheery locals feel free to comment on one's driving and tell you how to improve your parking skills.

Hmph. Maitland-dwellers. I'm heading back to Sydney in a few days. No one laughs at you if you can't figure out Sydney Buses, because no one can figure out Sydney Buses.
