highlyeccentric: Sign on Little Queen St - One Way both directions (shock!)
(lifted straight out of my wedding speech)

I have watched Chris grow up, mature as a man, and as an artist. Sometimes these two come together, with interesting results.
In his youth, our dear Chris took to drawing fairies.
Naked fairies. Now, as his classmates, we took an interest in Chris' drawings. And on one occasion, a bunch of us girls got hold of these naked fairies. It was quite plain to us that he'd never seen a naked woman, let alone fairy! These critters were cardboard boxes on long legs.
In the interests of his artistic education, we had him sketch Elizabeth. Most offended, was she, when she laid eyes on the squareish image of herself which resulted. She puts her hands on her waist, which pulled her uniform in like this: *hand span on either side*
I do have hips, you know!
And poor Chris' eyes pop out of his head, and he shouts Oh my God, I didn't know hips came that big! and rushes out of the room.
After that I remember being told quite a few times that Liz was the best looking girl in the grade.

Chris would like to assure you all that he has a much better idea of the female body now. As an artist, of course.
