another amusing incident from the brown family annals...

'Twas the day before christmas... and mum and I had gone out. We return home, having been to the shops and the church and whatnot. We open the door. Joel rushes into the laundry...
Joel: So what did Sue want?
us: huh?
Joel: what did she want? she rang, didn't she?
mum: not that i know of...
Joel: oh yeah, that's right. she spoke to me. she wants to talk to you. *wanders off looking vague*
