well actually, day-after-birthday, but then i lose the alliteration.

Was good birthday. Possibly best birthday since we stopped going for family picnics to Blackbutt and started having parties and other silly things.

Spent most of the day at church. Oh how virtuous I am! Mum & Dad rang in the morning, and Dad was all 'so, you going to the pub?' no, i'm actually about to head off to church... :P
Had to be up ridiculously early to get down there an hour before the morning service to rehearse some very weird bible reading/liturgy/thing with four readers, but instead of taking turns it was all over the place... I got very confuzzled and stuffed it up muchly. It was written by a Canadian, which might explain a lot :P

An old bloke in the morning service had a birthday too, so they had the two of us cut cake. I spent fifteen minutes telling anyone who would listen about embedded clauses.
The flies have a personal vendetta against me, i swear. *muttermuttermutter*

John, Lauren and David took me out to lunch, John knows this place up past Newtown Station that does BRILLIANT thai... Disappointed them all with my lack of adventurousness and my lack of eating rice either, but hey, i liked what i ate :D
John pointed out that Will would really like David, and he's right, too. Must come up with some way of introducing them. John also got very confused, as in the course of my discussion with Lauren he found out that not only was Will not my boyfriend, he wasn't even a recent ex. I got raised eyebrow looks. *sniggers*
David had me skipping up the street afterwards, which was amusing. Lauren and John were wandering along in a stately fashion, plotting the destruction of the world as usual. Probably through Seriously Mindboggling Theology- they're both at Assembly Standing Committee for Doctrine or something like that this week.

John dropped me back here, I fixed up an essay for resubmission, then had a nap until my calendar fell on my head. Did some washing, had tea, and buggered off to church again.
After I came back for the second time i wandered down to Williams wing, and people did birthday stuff to me... Laura got me some chocolate, and pink champagne (typically :P). Sara was a teddy bear and chocolate coated almonds, and Tock and Helena take the Grand Prize for a dictionary of quotations :DDDDD.

Studied until about midnight, got champagne all over my books, got kinda used to the taste of the stuff, enough that i kinda liked it... certainly the least terrible alcohol i've run into yet ;)
Still have half the bottle, and it was only a mini bottle! I reckon it's probably forbidden under my Braces Rules, though (not that i care), it's so sweet...

Only thing is, it'd've been nice if i warranted even a text message from will. Didn't hear from Chris either, but he's coming out on tues so that's ok. Got msgs from El and Shaye, but that's it. That's what you get for not having parties... no one remembers your birthday :P but i don't really care all that much, i had fun. I really needed a good dose of non-college people, and i've had that this weekend.
