made a few changes to the bit i posted on the weekend... slapped a few subjunctives in there.
completely unrelated question for everyone: what sort of birthday cake should i have? (i've already had a dragon, for my sixteenth. can't remember what i had last year, can't have been that interesting)
this year has to be smallish, 'cos i'm not having a party so it's just family and me and chris to eat it...

that's the first bit... does the last sentence make any sense? my pronouns could be off, i'm not used to working with more than two clauses at a time. 'la nettoye' is supposed to be 'clean it', not 'the cleaning'... does that work?
