Apparently, what i thought  was a casserole, the kind of thing i put weetbix on, is not in fact casserole, and as my mother dislikes casserole, i have never eaten casserole at home. I may have eaten it at college, though. What mum usually cooks in her casserole dish is Tuna Mornay and similar things, and it is *those* things you put weetbix on.

In compensation for my cereal offences, i offer you

Tuna Thing
(serves ~ 4 whole meals)

~ 2 cups of pasta
Diced/sliced onion
2 cans of tuna (those flavoured tunas that John West make are good)- or use other miscellaeneous cooked meat, i found the leftover chicken and ham after Christmas worked well
3 tablespoons of butter
4 dessert spoons of flour (not  heaped)
2 cups milk
Miscellaenous veggies, chopped
Grated cheese & weetbix

Boil the pasta and onion
drain and mix with meat and vegies, in an ovenproof baking or casserole dish. (I add some herbs as well in these two stages. Last night I used sundried tomato and basil tuna, so i added basil to the saucepan while boiling the pasta; and some chives to the meat/vege/pasta mix before adding the white sauce)
Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour; add milk and stir until boiling.
Pour white sauce over pasta; top with grated cheese and crumbled weetbix
Bake ~ 20 minutes, or until brown on top.
