Consume with Eating Utensil

i've just ventured into the wonderful world of microwave meals, somewhere i've not been since Will moved in with his mother :p
it isn't so bad. It isn't fantastic either, but then neither is college food.

Anyhow. I was very glad to see that my cardboard box of food contained, according to the specifications on the box, a "plastic eating tray", the food, and one "eating utensil".
As the instructions told me to, i heated the rissotto and stirred it with the eating utensil, which happened to be a plastic spoon.

At first i thought the utensil was so denoted because it might be a fork or a spoon- but 'fork or spoon' would actually have taken up less space on the packaging, so that can't be the problem.
Perhaps it really could be any eating utensil. Anyone fancy eating risotto with a fondue fork? A skewer? A fish knife?

perhaps it's just PC?

yep, 'cos it's rude to discriminate between utensils.
