I let you in on a family secret...
This is the best food on the face of the planet. We don't know its name- mum got it from a woman named Toni, so we call it Toni's cake. Toni called it Jane's cake, and Jane called it Alice's cake, and so on and so forth. I suppose you could call it Amy's cake, or Highly's cake, or something. Anyhow, if you have even a slight culinary bone in your body, make this.
*50 Maree biscuits (you could probably use milk arrowroots, i'm not sure what the difference is)
*1 and 1/4 cups of sugar
*4 eggs
*250g unsalted butter
*2 tablespoons cocoa
*vanilla essence
Crush the biscuits in a blender.
Cream the butter and sugar
Beat eggs, cocoa and vanilla; add to the butter mixture
Add three quarters of the wet mix to the biscuits. Press this onto a slightly dished round plate.
Top with the remaining wet mix. Put it in the fridge- we usually leave it overnight.
Eat it.
