Evidently I'm some sort of emotional masochist, because I really want to see this movie. I was in Dendy Civic on Tuesday and saw the big advertising stand thing: three people in dog collars and the title 'DOUBT'. Naturally, being some sort of emotional masochist, I want to see it.

Anyone want to see it with me, or shall I indulge my strange taste on my own?

I read the play that the movie is based on a few years ago, and it was really good--intellectually stimulating and intense. I'm looking forward to the movie, too.

I want to see it~ But that is fairly unhelpful. So, anyway. :D

While I understand the personal connection, I don't understand why it's strange to want to see a movie starring three of the best actors around today yelling at each other and being meek by turns?

Also, while there is an undercurrent of religious doubt, it's more about having conviction in your own sense of what's right, religiousity or no.
