What do men who don't know a barbell from a beardtrimmer do? What to men whose knees turn in and who cannot stand on one leg do, curl up and die in shame?

Sadly, I think this is pretty much exactly what some of them do. And/or buy free weights they don't know how to use and try to "get in shape" on their own and end up injuring themselves. Or develop a self-concept in which physical fitness is something they "just don't do," or pursue other activities like cycling or hiking or skiing or running – which, to be fair, is pretty much exactly what I do, being heavily terrified of any kind of gym environment, aggressively gendered or otherwise.

But I absolutely know men who have a defensive bravado about not being "gym guys" that is very much born of dying of shame. (Born of dying. Hmm. Now my brain's trying to work out that metaphor.)

Super intrigued, anyway, to hear from you about what they actually *offer* at an Aggressively Gendered Gym, since I have never stepped inside one and probably never will. Physical Therapy maxed me out on scrutiny of my lack of coordination, core strength, and proprioception.
